FAQS
Q - When Should I arrive for my rental?
A - Please arrive 20- 30 min before your rental.
Q - How old do I have to be to rent, ride or drive?
A - In order to rent a jet ski from us you need to be at least 18 years old with valid proof of age – drivers’ license, passport or similar form of governmental ID. You must be at least 10 years old to ride as a passenger and need a parent or guardian with you on the jetski.
Q – Do I need a jetski or boating license?
A – No. All our jetski rentals go out with one of our licensed jetski operators. Prior to leaving the dock there will be a safety and instruction briefing on how to operate the jetski.
Q – Are reservations required?
A – No but they are recommended. We will do our best to accommodate all walkups. Weekends are very busy, and spots do fill up quickly during peak season.
Q – Do we have to follow the staff boat/ski?
A – Yes. You must stay within sight of our staff operator but are free to drive around the appointed area.
Q – What is the difference between a tour rental and a rental?
A – A tour rental is a longer more in-depth ride around the Great South Bay. Your guide will take you on different routes where you will get to see more sites in our local area. A rental is where your guide takes you out to the appointed area and this is where you stay with your group.
Q – What should I bring and wear?
A – You will get wet. We recommend a towel, bathing suit or some form of clothes that you won’t mind getting wet. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a smile are suggested as well!
Q – Do I need to leave a deposit?
A – Yes. There is a $500 deposit we require per jetski. You are not charged unless you damage the jetski.
Q – What happens if it rains?
A – If it is raining at our location before we go out, we will offer a full refund, if we are out already, we offer a 50% discount on the current ride or a future ride booked with us. We do still go our if it is drizzling.
Q – Can I combine a boat and jetski outing?
A – Yes. Call, text or email us to discuss additional packages we can offer for your day out on the water.
Q – What if someone is under the influence of alcohol or drugs?
A – They will not be allowed to rent or ride on the jetski. We reserve the right to cancel your booking and you lose your deposit if you are under the influence. Under no circumstances do we allow any type of alcohol to be brought on a jetski rental.
